The Cultural Corridor

The Cultural Corridor is a dedicated hub at the heart of North Florida’s progression, pushing culinary arts and creativity on A1A. The movement focuses on becoming a vibrant hub for the community through food and beverage, entertainment, fashion, innovation, expression and creative enterprise.
Englert Theatre

The Englert Theatre is Iowa City’s last last historic theatre aiming to inspire and activate positive growth in the community through building an ecosystem of artists and arts workers, education and workforce development, partners and collaborators.
Free tours of the historic theater are available for groups or individuals.
University of Iowa Theatre Arts

The University of Iowa Department of Theatre Arts is one of the oldest and most respected theatre programs in the country. Offering students the opportunity to earn an undergraduate BA degree or an MFA degree with an emphasis in acting, directing, design, playwriting, dramaturgy, or stage management.
Advanced ticket sales are available through the Hancher Box Office, or tickets can be purchased at the Box Office at the Theatre Building one hour prior to the performance, on an as-available basis, unless the production is sold out.
Hancher Auditorium

Earning an international reputation for excellence as one of the leading university presenters of the performing arts in the nation since 1972, Hancher has been the cultural hub of the University of Iowa campus presenting world-class dance, music and theatre.
Riverside Theatre

Founded by Ron Clark, Jody Hovland and Bruce Wheaton in 1981 and now in its 42nd season. The Riverside Theatre strengthens the cultural fabric of Iowa City through intimate, engaging productions from classics to new works, fostering a deeper appreciation for the dramatic arts.
